Also keep in mind I just started playing this game last night so you will have to explain to me how we can meet in game and what not (You will have to deal with trading a newb). Newb at Neverwinter not at JSP trades.

I just started last week and I quickly found out gold is useless after buying ur mount at level 20, and people will rip u off for it aswell, a guy sold me 15 gold for 15fg, and I found out gold is less valuable that astral diamonds and those go for 100 to 1 fg ratio.....

"Ripped you off"? For 15fg?

As you said, you've been playing for a while now, so you have noticed just about how much AD you get in the time you collect, lets say 10g.
A lot more, a lot more than 100:1 ratio.
And yes, you still need gold, not as primary currency, but you do need it. Why would anyone sell gold for that 100:1 ratio to earn 2fg for hours and hours of gameplay?
