Most high level tier items have gained 100-500% value over the past 2 days, but still their value in terms of real dollars is quite low (ancient grand shield 80k--->400k).
My prediction is that some of the higher tier items will increase 50-100 fold in value a few weeks after bop patch and launch is live. In age of conan and diablo 2 a prepatch item could easily fetch 100-200 dollars or more, in neverwinter this is equivalent of 10-20 million ad.

Every t2 item that is out right now should have in theory just increased exponentially in value since those items will be BoP now.

Does the new patch offer a new tier of items in Gauntlgrym ?

astral diamonds might lose value since a large part of their purpose goes away with patch (buying items), items might be traded for something else (barter) and there might be an influx of epics on this forum and other sites

short term astral diamonds will increase because of patch but long term down after most stuff are bought out (2-3months), remaining boes will sell on jsp and other markets.

I think you missed the message that they were not going to implement the BOP idea.
