I'm on Mindflayer and just got the quest. I know there's something cool you can do with this quest but don't know anythign about it. :S

pretty sure you share the quest with someone else, they go do it while you abandon your quests, then you get the quest again after they get the reward for it, and then you share it to them again, so they can repeatedly get the rewards

pretty much it, just don't ever turn it. drop and get it back from a friend, they can just hold it for you even if they don't want to do it and just give you the quest when you want to do it again, rinse and repeat.

Can I drop it and come back and pick it up myself even if I level beyond the area, like come back at 60 and mess with it? Sick of my quest tracker telling me to go back to the Graveyard!

Yes you can be any level, bit easier if you're higher actually. You can ditch it and then grab it back from someone later. Also if you want to change the active quest just double click the quest title on your hud.

what level do you first get the quest at?

Around 27 or so. If someone wants to farm it on Dragon Shard, i'm around and willing for an hour...
