The hell you need 2k gold for?

Unless stuff starts pooping gold out late game, noone is going to be able to sell you that.

there are items that cost thousands of gold......
Gold is easy to get as basically no one ever buys green gears and you get lots of gold vendering them given you run a lot of dungeons(which I do)

I use gold to level up all 5 professions....it's really costy.

no longer needed. I found a way to make tons of diamonds and gold easily.
