Yep agree with this. When I still played WoW, back in Cataclysm we had reputable guilds selling slots for a carry through the end raids for either the heroic mounts or titles, maybe gear, and it was always guaranteed that you were going to get what you paid for. They would run it a second/third time whichever to make sure you got that mount/title/etc.
If you don't guarantee something to the person who just paid you for that service, then you're scamming and should be reported and banned from the game as such. If your intention is actually getting people that certain piece of gear, this obviously doesn't apply to you... but if your intention is to screw someone out of a potential gear upgrade just because it didn't drop on the *lottery* run they just paid for, well you deserve that report and ban.
wow, there are always some clueless guys around the internet.
U might want to look up what scam means, u have no understanding of that word. If the guy know which exact conditions are involved, he knows what he paiys for and it´s a deal like any others, period. We do it our way, so that makes us scammers haha.
Want to talk about Wow? Never touched that again since classic, where our deal was " we carried u through mc and you have right to roll for items u need until you get your First item - then you lose all rights to roll". There were maybe 2-3 progress guilds on most servers who could clear mc, and ppl overbid each other to have a spot, they want to see mc bosses firsthand that bad. Our raid never had to farm for mats, and ppl got stuffs like epic mounts for free. So yeah, our methods were not succesful at all...
Thread can be close, we decided of a minimum price, but we will ask for offers first. If he make an offer higher than what we have in mind we naturally take that, if he undercut we tell him we wont do until he paid X.
we got our first client, after some negotition and inspecting our gear, he offer to pay us 300k. At the end he did get 1 item that run that was not even worth 50k, but he thanked us at the end for taking him along. Totally deserving a ban here.
