Wow!
I never heard that there would be a Neverwinter online game. I was a huge fan of Neverwinter and the like (Baulder's Gate) as a youth, and I kind of wished they would make more. This game looks promising, and being able to play a Drow is enticing. I watched the "Hero of the North" founder's pack and was intrigued, but I saw the $199 pricetag. I am thinking about it... when will the founder's packs be removed for purchase?
In 2 days, you'll be able to play for free.

when you can no longer be considered a founder:
AKA when it is "fully released"
Free to plays are getting fucking bold these days, every single one of them, pretty much, now are releasing with some variation of a founder pack for 200$.
Sadly, not every f2p game is like PoE where they are strictly against p2w

though they did have founder's packs, but it didn't give buyers much of a in-game advantage
