Im pretty sure there’s a way to bypass the timer to join new groups
a lot dont know so i guess I'll put it in here if anyone cares
account 1 (group leader)
account 2 (no group)
both accounts stand by portal
acc 1 invites acc 2
acc 2 accepts, when chat box updates to 'load' both accounts click portal and right click each other
both click trade and trade occurs off node
upon relog the acc without group is back on node, without joining
its not super complicated, just clicking to move when the chatbox loads cancels the process, but it'll queue you as being in the group for a couple seconds
