Warning : if you've never played borderlands 1 this post contains spoilers

I'll start... I just started playing thru BL 1 again just to remember all the fun little details about it... It's so completely different going back and playing it when you know certain things from the other BL games.
The mildly interesting thing I have to note/mention is at the start of the game. Guardian Angels tone/attitude from the start is very deceiving if you pay attention. One of the first things she says is "I am supposed to help you get to the vault" (without mention of motive or anything) Then when the bandits take down claptrap before you even open the Fyrestone gate, Guardian Angel says "would you kindly help the little robot". Possible homage to Bioshock with added foreshadowing to the deception getting the vault hunters to ultimately open the vault. This is all a light mention, mainly to start discussion. Feel free to add to this from any of the borderlands titles, I cannot personally contribute from anything from the "tales from the borderlands" title though. I refuse to buy that game :/

wouldn't recommend buying tales, but watch through it it's pretty cool

also there's a bioshock easter egg in borderlands 2 with mr. bubbles and the girl who spawns with him in the magnys lighthouse

You're just mad because you rushed through the game crazy fast using gibbed or whatever other mod. I respect your opinion as far as to recognize it's possible there is "no rock unturned" for you as far as easter eggs, subliminal context, etc. but I highly doubt it. Doesn't justify trying to sage my thread. If you don't have anything nice to say, please don't say it at all. If you haven't noticed there's not a huge amount of activity on this subforum, I'm only trying to share conversation with people about things that are liked about the game.



Yeah, I picked up on that one the first time thru the DLC. I've never had a game that held my interest like BL does, as far as story goes. Gotta say one of my favorites still too.
I haven't had a chance to really play since my initial post, but I will be revisiting and commenting different things I find combing over the game again. Whither or not Dlc likes it

I've spent hours watching videos on youtube as well as playing looking through different easter eggs, I know an extensive list of them
