Im thinking Gunzerk.

But I haven't played in about 5 months so Im not sure what has changed.


I know that when i stopped zerk was capable of the most dps while duel wielding.


Is the new class able to compete?
And does the new lv cap change anything?

Nope, gunzerker still has the best dps

hands down it's always been zero, just not allot of ppl play melee in an dps. but I've seen crazy number with Zero melee. they use Hide of Terremorphus, Rapier, Bone of the Ancient Relic & a long bow slag singular grenade mod. they use the grenade at there feet soon as there CD comes off, it keeps knocks out there shields slags the boss & gets the full elemental burst from hide. then they melee with in steath for a bonus that just gets crazy. but if your talking viable specs for all around game play it's pretty close between cata siren with the sand hawk. duel wielding gun zerker, an shock anarchist. just depends on the boss & who's behind the wheel.

not only that but a zero using DP Unkkempt Herold with Bore talent & Quazer Grenades to line them up. he can still kill Hypirius the fastest like that.

I think he is right. A while back I attempted world record speed kills on terra and was able to beat zerks with zero using that method. However I can't say it's really a sustainable dps over a period of time.

So that's why I asked if maybe something has changed but it doesn't look like any mechanics changed thus far.


I'm running through the entire game again with another zerk. (Capped a zero and zerk already )
Want to replay the game with my fav class. Psycho did look cool but I like effiecency.

Lol back in September I could get a one shot kill on terramorphasis with gun zerk, but I heard the bee was nerfed and a few other things.

gunzerkers are still really good, & easy to farm pretty much anything, I think they are the best class to farm on for allot of reason. but you can farm just as fast on a siren, it's just alil' harder. Masterkizz is proof of that.
