I bought the DLC, pretty sure I have it installed, because it says in green "Installed" on the DLC menu.. yet when I go to create a new character, I cannot choose a Mechromancer. What, do I have to beat the game first or something?


Yeah, I'm pretty newb @ Borderlands2. Highest level is 17.

try restarting steam completely

but just an FYI the new DLC or the Season Pass doesn't get you the Mechro. only pre-ordering the game or buying the Mechromancer Pack will unlock her.
