I'm trying to farm the maggie pistol and i keep getting the level 42 req. one. I know you can get level the level 50 gun. Is it just random what level it gives you?

the boss needs to be over lvl 50 for the gun to be lvl 50

How are you suppose to get a level 50 maggie if the guy who drops is always 45.

there are two true playthroughs. After completing the story of playthrough 2, all enemies are scaled to level 50-51, and all stores sell items befitting to level 50 characters. No more story-related quests are accessible after this, as you've already beaten all of them. However, if you haven't done some side quests, they are still available to do

I'm on playthrough 2. The guy who drops the Maggie gun is level 45. And as far as i could tell, theres only one place to kill him.

Apparently is some sort of glitch? I finished the quest when i was level 50. he is actually level 43. I don't know why he wont scale into level.

you need to be on playthrough 2.5. you need to beat the final story quest then farm that boss. that is the way it works for farming all level 50 oranges.
