What kind of rules are most fair in borderlands for looting. Is it first come first serve or is there any kind of s haring involved?

depends who you play with.
with random people, it's usually GREEDers, but if it's with friends you guys can set it up however you want.
i usually try to do it based on need vs greed.

makes sense.
now i just played a game with a lvl 40 guy, cuz im levle 40.
but right now i can only look @ level 1 games with the quest "Fresh off the bus"
how to fix?

make sure you pick your character. it usually have to load my character that i want to play on in the multiplayer menu, then it shows all the games my lvl.

people are dicks in that game as i used to be, but now have hax n pearls so no point lol

Lol, you got anything sweet for a lvl 41? :D
the guy i played with was pretty good, he opened a chest and let me have at the loot.
i mean i just saved his life and all but so what, ;P

if you guys want later we can all do some crawmerax runs! im max level, and already gear'd up. so you guys can have all the loot, + you will level very fast.

explain what a crawmnerax run is! :D
also i found out my problem, i had chosen my char but it had selected playthrough 2 for me.
