Yeah dont use modded weapons. Ruins it.

just join a random game with high lvls. most ppl are very friendly and will just dupe the weapon for you...
OR
join a high lvl game and do a few crawmerax runs, he will surely drop something that will interest you.

Lil bit old thread but honestly.. I just go for the Acidic Repeater every time. I can't remember what the x4 is called. Vitriolic or some shit. But it works wonders. I've used that gun from Late 20s into the 50s and it was still a beast.

Do you have the DLCs?
