It's a role playing game. Just the game play it's self is fast paced FPS. So its got tons of quests and challenges skills and char development and such. Lots of customization. And randomized weapon drops & mods, as well as enemy placement and such.

the obv difference is the RPG elements..leveling up, the diablo-esque skill tree to develop...lots of quests to do too and i'd say it's worth the buy
