RPG / Online 4 player co-op only in a shooter fashion this time?

Based on the trailer I think so people will get it at first say how great it is and quit playing it within two months entirely. or damn near entirely..just doesn't look that great to me.

Anyone else feel the same? (I don't deny it has potential but I don't think Gearbox is going to be the one to pull it off)

looks like comination of l4d,fallout 3

there saying it's like d2 but shooter cus u can level(i think) but u can customize skills cars gear and stuff like that

While I doubt anyone will answer, wasn't there supposed to be an FPS/RTS mix game? I don't remember what it was called.

isnt that kinda what there making the new ff into? you control a person while you command everyone else or something

Will probably be some kinda version of the gambit system that I hated.

Assigning them tasks prior to battles rather than a more turn-based style.

Except maybe your main character.
