demons souls is that old, yet its still a superb game.
well worth the buy, it will remain that way even after the servers go down and dark souls comes out.

ive never played either of the dead space games, but ive heard it doesnt have much replay value.

borderlands (imo) has some replay value, but not much.
it lasts longer than dead space at any rate, so if ur looking to stay involved in a game longer then borderlands is prolly ur best bet.

Well, they both have quite a bit of replay value in my opinion. Both games have New Game+ settings, where the enemies are tougher and the drop rates change for items. However, in Borderlands (much like Diablo 2), the loot the enemies drop become rarer and of a higher level, which is good because all the first playthrough gear sucks by the second playthrough anyway. Basically, Borderlands is Diablo 2 in FPS form(there are many D2 references in the game too). I got bored with Borderlands after my second playthrough because I was basically invincible in both PvP and PvM. In Dead Space 2, the game becomes much more challenging as the enemies are harder to kill, they do more damage, and ammunition is scarser. You will probably want to replay Dead Space 2 about 2-3 times because there are new unlockable in each difficulty. I beat the original Dead Space 4 times and I probably will do the same with this one. Plus, Dead Space 2 has a decent multiplayer on it that will keep you entertained for a little while.
