Okay, I just got the game. Is there one class that is "better" than the others in terms of abilities and such? I'm not too sure which class I want to start with and would like to know other people's opinions

From what I understand, Lillith is the most challenging to solo with, but still very doable. Roland is the best for co-op/multiplayer. Brick is the run in and fuck shit up type (solo or multi) & mordecai is the more snipe and stay out and fight from the outside in.

Of those, which would you suggest for a new player? I will probably solo some of the game, and also play a lot with one friend online :P
I'm thinking Roland or Mordecai

I've been using Brick solo, and haven't had a whole lot of difficulty. He's the only class I've played beyond level 9. Roland is pretty solid with his action power. & David said Mordecai is really good for solo if you get good at critical shots. For multiplayer everyone brings something to the table.

I used Siren(lilith) first play through.

Uhm her phasewalk is good to get out of situations + the regain health skill.

Lilith is the strongest/second strongest after imba rofl skillwing.

She really shines at high level however I;ve found her pretty easy all the way.

I'd also say shes the most forgiving to new players with phase walk.

I thought about Brick, and looked at the beginning of this thread:

I've only hit 34. I think everybody is pretty good tbh. I think the balance for non-pvp is really good. Idk about PvP yet tbh.

You can get any type of gun with an explosive damage enhancement. So bricks skill that adds explosive damage will improve it. I used a SMG most the way from 18-32. Now I have such a big launcher magazine and fast reload etc that it doesn't matter, launcher is almost as fast as SMG lol. His Berserk skill is good with no points invested even, great for knocking a boss down the last bit when your health may be low.
