Once MW2 comes out everyone will forget all about Borderlands and it will die.

Except for people that don't play COD.

Well that will without a question happen with me...if Mw2 is as good as they are saying...why i'm playing blands much more than i normally play games.

I don't know many people that don't play CoD by now tbh.

And if not now, when MW2 comes!

A lot of people don't play Call of duty. Most of those play Halo, or RPG's.

Less than half of the people I know that play games in general play COD, even less of a % on XBL. I don't think MW2 is a very good starting point for people to join a competitive shooter where people will already dominate, whereas I think WAW was simply because zombies etc could get people into the game online when people haven't played much before. But still. I think if borderlands sells well, it will remain popular through the holidays, and boom a second time with xmas, and if there is a big enough player base, and DLC it will be a long staying game that isn't strictly FPS with new map packs every couple months.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to try Borderlands. I'd probably buy it if I didn't just buy Fallout 3.

Still, Modern Warfare 2 is going dominate the online console gaming for a while.

This is what happened last year, I knew like 20 people who dodged FO3 cause GOW2, and then they were like wait, I fucked up lul, brb with FO3. But borderlands is better than anything. Funnest game I've played since Final Fantasy 10, which is the funnest thing I've played since either D2 or Ocarina of time, i don't remember which I played first.
