Who has the higher endgame dps

I thought I heard melee amara has some of the highest.

I'm playing elemental amara, but I'm always tweaking my character.
Usually trying to come up with weird combos or builds that are still effective.

FL4K is probably better for bosses, if you want to talk pure DPS.
But I've always preferred mobbing, and the new siren is excellent at that.
Plus, with Mayhem 3 and the new variety with that setting, it's so much more enjoyable.

Phase lock was an ability I overlooked early in BL2 as not being that great, but it's so so powerful to have that disabling ability.
And now, it's even better. Lol.

Overall, I haven't played FL4K, he did suffer some nerfs though to his fade skills. As did Jakobs weapons.
So this will have an impact on him.

Really it seems irrelevant though, you don't really need the best of the best gear to do things on this game.
Unless you want bragging rights to who can three second kill a boss. But that doesn't even sound that fun to me.

It's actually pretty fun right now, and I'm hoping they don't make the level cap 81 or whatever like in BL2.
All the builds become the same because you have so many skill points and the winning choice is so obvious on how to build.

If I get a buff in game to elemental damage on mayhem 3 it's a wrap, I shredd graveward so fast.
Thats with mediocre gear.
I personally enjoy red tree over green for main damage, it's so satisfying to tether a group of enemies and melt the room. Plus I got bored with melee krieg in bl2, and didn't wanna focus too much on a melee siren

Yeah I played AR elemental krieg in the last one, was amazing. But started on melee, mostly just to level, and since i was solo'ing with little to no gear. I agree, melee gets old.

I've never invested that far into the red tree, I run out of skills I'd like to spec. Though it has some nice options, that tether ability sounds great, i haven't used it yet.

Currently, I'm running all three trees but predominantly blue. Started using mostly purple guns just to switch it up, and some of these are insanely good. Been using some torgue, some maliwan shockwaves, and other guns with alien barrels. But. Even the tediore shotgun is really good. I'm just looking more at the game. There's so many things that haven't been discovered or tested yet.

Fl4k just got absolutely raped, so amara

I knowwww and it sucks because I made it almost endgame with flak and wanted to see his burst but I guess it's back to Amara. Plus she is absolutely satisfying

He is my only end game character so looks like I’m building a moze

They both have their pro's and con's, but I find Amara to be a better well rounded character. Here is the current build I am using:



The King and Queen's Call still do pretty good damage against Graveward. This build is also good for mobbing. Currently running an Anointed Nighthawkin (+100% Damage on Action Skill end) that just rips through mobs while running Phasecast. Phasegrasp is still good with it too, but I get better results with Phasecast.

Bossing you just use any good Anointed ele weapon and Phasezerker COM with the same grenade type that you can throw at yourself

Really with Amara as long as you run Phazezerker with two or three other perks maxed, you're going to have good dps. Combine that with a decent weapon and you're set. I'm running a Purple shotgun with perfect double prefixes and with 300% bonus damage after action skill and it shreds.

The game really isn't especially challenging though, but maybe that will change when I try more lategame stuff.
Not saying we never get downed, but my friends are still level 40 and haven't even farmed lol. End game Borderlands 2 was much harder running solo Digostruct Peak.

However, been playing Mayhem 3 with two of my other friends (and solo). None of us have looked a ton at builds, though I made my own and found it was pretty similar to others. Likely to the one above. It's really not especially hard to figure out. You could likely run Green weapons and still make it work if you have some game knowledge and know what to look for. Considering some people did that in BL2.

Just farming for a meta build with kings call/queens call, sounds kinda boring to me. I mean, it's a pvm game, and Borderlands lol. You can acquire that stuff pretty fast. There's so much viability with all the weapons. And there's so many legendaries. You can have just a decent setup overall and still farm bosses. Which will give the game more replayability. The Dictator is a pretty damn strong weapon. Mine shoots definitely 20+ projectiles.

I honestly might even make my siren a Tediore reload tank as time goes on and more people have found some more data put about individual weapon parts , and I can be sure what prefixes to farm for. It won't be the best but it might be fun. Using the Gunnerang. Lol. Which was surprisingly pretty good in 2 with the right build.

But hey, different strokes for different folks. It's all about having fun which can differ in how that's acquired for person to person.
