Anyone in the sub-forum play Borderlands a lot?
Maybe someone who knows where a good place is to hunt for good elemental guns to build a good arsenal for soloing Crawmerax?

Those guns aren't good enough.

ive found pearls in there. i'll tell you right now the best way to beat craw is just join a random online game, get a modded gun, and just farm him. but use real weapons for the game because it gets so boring

I've already beaten him for the quest or whatever.
I kinda wanna do it just for fun. I've seen plenty of videos of sirens just doing it with a good combination of varied elemental guns, problem is my only respectable elemental weapon is my Combustion Hellfire so if it's anything not weak to fire Im not very effective.
I'm surprised at pearlescents coming from there though I usually take 3 maybe 4 guns, I don't remember if I totally finished the quest on my siren though. I may just have to level my 61 Hunter who has the glitch still doable and dupe any good guns he finds over to her, I just think there's gotta be a better place to find some good elemental weapons.

I've heard the Crimson Enclave was a good spot to run through for weaps but I'm not sure if that holds up to the level 69 cap.
