I watched my buddy play it a bit the other night, and it looks like a fun single player game, and online whenever it comes back.

Any thoughts? or is there an alternative game that's still kind of cheap that has amazing single player and decent online? I like the idea of the RPG/FPS combo.

I was wondering this too. I heard about it and it being fun. Newegg was out of the game of the year edition with the DLC's on it and I just thought eh i'll maybe get it some other time.

Does GOTY come with all the DLC?

Edit: I see Mod Nation Racers is cheap, I've heard a few people talking about that too. Red Dead Reedemption: Undead Nightmares is another choice, lol.

So far I've seen: Borderlands GOTY, Mod Nation Racers, RDD: Undead Nightmares and GoW collection...

i played a demo for modnation racers, not a fan, especially after playing GT5 and NFS shift2

I am really leaning towards Borderlands. It seems like it has a lot of things you can do, except only 4 classes is a bit of a let down.

Edit: What are some other amazing single player games? I just want one that takes a while to beat, or at least has good replay value and if you get bored you can go online.

I would order Borderlands for like 15$ but i'd want GOTY for the DLC's and they're out.
