Are these really recommended or will I still have an excellent experience without them?

My friend downloaded one and said he beat it in like 30 minutes. I dunno what one it was/if he was being completely truthful or not though.

Maybe he has all that glitched gear that rapes haha.

I'm just wondering, is it one of the add ons that lets you reach level 61 or was it an update?
Just got the game recently so I'm not sure.

get the ones that arent mad moxxi's , unless you want to be bored for 4 hours(at a time) completeing the same stuff over and over 60 times

and ur friend was lieing , did not take 30mins to complete any of them

secret armory lets you get to 61. if anything , get that one ,
the zombie one is cool . weird but, yea

the secret armory is the best one other ones are just a waste of money
