first question:
i have two smg's, one deals 34 dmg, the other deals 4x 23 dmg... which one is better? they have the same fire rate and accuracy ratings.....cant really decide but it seems like the second should be better.

second question:
is there a way to store items anywhere on borderlands?

i was thinking maybe with the buyback system, but items dissapear from that after a while i guess =/


any help is appreciated =)

The x4 smg just means it shoots 4 bullets at once...they tend to have horrible accuracy but are good close range...if neither have elemental dmg they are probably around the same effectiveness.

Their is no way to store items anywhere besides your inventory...get a friend and just mule shit on to a lvl 1 char is the best thing i thought of.

Grab a second controller and go to split screen. Drop any items you don't want to carry around and have the second character hold them until future need.

the whole mule thing is a pretty good idea =p, but i think i might just hunt around for the claptraps cuz that should give me plenty of spaces =p

with the new dlc thats coming out there will be a way to store unneeded equipment

and as far as the x4 machine guns they arent too good for the simple fact that when fired they use 2 bullets which will have you running out of ammo very fast... the best smgs are combustion hellfires so you should aim for one of those

Lol a chest in each town that somehow teleports all your gear to that chest your near I bet it will be, but idk, never played borderlands, just sounds funny if they did that.
