i found the ending rather interesting but my question is i wanna gage my lvl to others who may have beat it i was 37 when i did.. and am gonna start playthrough 2 to get lvl 50

Got to 50 at about Crimson Fastness on play through 2.

does doing another play through make the enemies harder?

Yes.. they are scaled around the same level.
They go from being Badass Elder Warg or w/e they are called to BadassMutha Champion Wargs

i just made a siren today shes a beast probly the best char imo

yes the enemies become harder and i believe their quantity increases also bc there are endless supply of scog's everywhere of all sizes.. ohh so many scogs
