Returning to the game, again. I think I put a little time in some months ago into Shadowlands, but it was short-lived.

I think I made rather fair progress at the time, but given how this game operates, not playing for months at a time

can (last that I recall anyways) really do a number on you if you wish to be even semi-competitive in virtually any sense

of the word whatsoever, let alone if you're someone that values having more than one character up-to-date on everything.

My question is where do I go to get a relatively straightforward answer on where to get started again? Plenty has happened

in real life, so I feel like I'd almost (to some degree) be relearning the game, slightly, if at least this expansion in particular to

be more specific. I haven't made the decision to resub yet, but I would like a good run-down on everything that's happened

recently, and what I should be focused on as a player (I don't recall where I left off, for what it's worth). I do believe I did not

have flying unlocked at the time, however, for reference. Just want to ensure my time is as well spent as possible and that I

make a sort of checklist that I abide by were I to come back and jump into things again.


Any insight would be appreciated.

go zereth mortis do the quest chain (2nd legendary)
do 4 m+ runs for chest

If I was to still attempt the "try hard" route, what would that look like, roughly speaking?

get at least heroic token bosses or 11/11 hc (3chests)
8x 15+ dungeons (3chests)
grind rep for 2nd legendary
pvp until 2,1k rating (3chests)
