Kneejerk reaction of mine was: It's a joke.

That being said, I don't know about TCG availability/scarcity in China. If it was next to impossible to get TCG cards back in the day, in that area of the world, I don't really see a problem with them receiving the mounts through other means now.

Should they ever add new means to obtain the Spectral Tigers on retail, say through the panda auction house, I would never subscribe again (although I haven't been subbed in almost a year at this point).

I'm owner of Swift Spectral Tiger and I agree with you. In China seems it was not possible to obtain the TCG Card. Was not sold there. So they added now this and costs subscribe 6 months + 2xx$ and only on TBC Classic.

If they added this on Retail I would never play again.

You do realize this is for the chinese servers? That are not run by blizzard, which you cannot connect to/play on EVER?




This is correct indeed, it wasn't even 'next to impossible' it was just flat out impossible. Nobody on the Chinese servers has a spectral tiger, except for now on TBC classic
