So I played a bit of classic last year. Since then TBC has been released.

I'm trying to understand my options.

If I resubscribe, will I have the option to either continue on classic or "convert" to tbc?
And if so, does anybody have an idea on how many players are left on classic? Is it dead or playable? Am I pretty much forced to go TBC if I want to play in a non-dead world?

I really don't have time to play wow but I would like to do some pvp so I'm thinking about twinking so I don't have to keep updating my gear. I would be able to play like 2-5 hours/week.
Is there a scene for "low level pvp"and what brackets are most played for twinks?
Remind me again about what battlegrounds are available for what levels? And is there any difference between classic and tbc in this regard that I should keep in mind when making my decision?

classic era servers are dead (this is not talking about season of mastery)
TBC has some mega servers, alot of people have been xferring this last week.
season of mastery released ~2 weeks ago and it is a “ladder reset” of classic that lasts 1 year

worth mentioning that SoM realms will be merged with Classic-era realms later on most likely in phase6.

Play either TBC or SoM if u want a classic feel

if u'd like to come back just to twing dont even try
there are no twinking nowadays
