Not sure how Blizz know's who's getting boosted or run through dungeons / raids (just that).

Kind of bullshit, imo. I mean, I don't see how they can really detect if you're "paying for third party boosting".
And if youre with friends who run your alts ? wtf

that's not true, no one is getting banned for buying boosts with gold.

What server and faction is this happening on? I have not heard of this yet.

What Alpha said....this is called powerleveling which is different from boosting. Powerleveling is where you are paying someone to log onto your account and level you. Boosting is being on your character and sitting in a dungeon while they level you by mass pulling mobs and AoE'ing down.

When you purchase a power level always ensure it's a trusted source with VPN to connect to your local server so it looks like it's you. I do many power levels and gear boosting for people and use VPN and never have issues.

That's not what you said in your original post though.. Account sharing is against the TOS and Blizzard has always been banning for this (if they catch you) it even happens that family members with the same last name share an account (without living in the same house) and they get the banhammer.. (can be resolved with appeals but takes time, Blizzard is not the company they were during original vanilla, tbc and wotlk)

No bans.. only if account shared or boost bought vs $ and no gold trade ingame.

you don't even get banned for openly botting.
