you have to look at the value of gold on your server too. will 110g be worth more than around what... ~1500gish at best? Will there be more on the market because it isn't actual vanilla mentality?

gold last I looked was worth around $7-15 per G on one site depending on the server, so let's say 110g is worth $550 atm (not sure how accurate this is)

I'd try whispering and getting stuff super cheap, I think theres an influx of these types of items right now but soon they will be less commonly ran. Not an expert by any means

buy that shit now as its much cheaper if you aren't trying to save up for epic mount or anything like that ... or if 115g isn't that big a deal to you currently. can easily double/triple+ the price once bgs are closer

if you played Runescape, Partyhats are these items. Your gold will always depreciate but certain items always hold value. These twink items are like this, yes it's 110g now but basically 110g is more valuable now than months down the road is the basic idea. If you have it sitting around then go ahead, it's a good way to keep your money valuable basically

Inflation etc etc, but at the very least, a shadowfang would continue with inflation, but 'how much' would it increase.

selling gold for real money? usually itll even out. 110g now may or may not be the same price as 1500 later.
selling gold for fg? i think right now is the time to spend fg on gold. everyone is selling and driving down the prices, i think it will rebound once people quit to go back to their own games over playing classic for quick fg.
having gold for future patches of classic? meh. once u buy your epic mount u dont really have a big need for gold outside of alts, twinking and raid materials.

I got a few stocked atm. My lil investments i buy when i see the price low in ah or someone to pm and haggle. I'm shaman so not having a mount at 40 is fine with me as whenever i sell my investments I'll be loaded

Twinking will dry up faster than the excitement for cata considering there wont be any new players for those bads to prey on.
