Never was into wow back in the day so this is fairly new to me. I am currently level 19 and upon level 20 I will need a gold for next fishing and extra gp for new skill tiers. I have been struggling with dying alot so I can't really cruise through quests for gp/exp. Leather/low herbs/low fish haven't been selling. Is there any items I can farm for descent currency from NPCs so I don't have to rely on the ah? I'm not talking big currency I'm just talking 1-2g and I could use some mob grinding anyways I wanna get out of darkshore :/. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, dont force it. Gold will come by as you level.
Fishing is nice to have i feel you, but that 1g is quite a bit on lvl 20, so i would definately go for skills first. (skip skills you dont need, check a guide for your class on that)

If you really wanna farm the gold, i would suggest searching for a group for deadmines (that's one of the first instances you will encounter) and sell all the junk you get. Its easier to not die die alot when you're in a group.
Its also quite good for getting geared with greens and maybe some blues that help you kill stuff.


Since you mentioned darkshore i guess you're playing alliance. (deadmines are located in westfall, area south to stormwind)

If you're playing horde tho, go for ragefire chasm which is located in orgrimmar.

Type to find a group the easy way. Just write once you found one and cba the spam that goes on there.

try to sell anything you can on the AH even if it's only a few silver as long as you don't post it for same/lower as vendor price. even though it looks minuscule, it'll add up.
such as some junky green boe. instead of selling it for 1.2s to vendor, throw it on the AH for 10-14s. someone will grab it for an alt or to level enchanting.
my alt warrior throws up leather scraps, light leather, linen cloth for a few silver per stack. but it comes easily so a few silver x 20+ transactions builds up. lvl 26 sitting on 45g w/o any money sent from my main.

most importantly if you're having trouble earning money, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THE AH. unless you know you will be able to flip it for more money.

Get a adon like questie and smash through instances.
Try and save up for a mount at 40 choose wisely on what skills you buy and try not to respec.
