Im trying swords in combat.. just feel like im dying all the time if I go against anything more than 1 mob... also lvl 23

If you are level 23 this is what your talent tree should look like as combat





Improved Gouge helps a ton with CC when you need to escape or use first aid to heal up mid fight (also make sure you level first aid as quickly as possible)

Deflection for 5% parry is decent but Riposte is a crazy good talent especially when fighting a group of melee mobs

Make sure you use Evasion when needed, try to always carry healing potions and vanishing powders, utilize your stuns and cooldowns wisely

Once you hit level 30 and get Blade Flurry and Kidney Shot, things will go A LOT smoother for ya so just hang in there for a couple more levels

Combat is best way to level as rogue talent wise. Swords is nice but any nice main hand will do, the slower attack speed the better. Swords are usually more expensive to their mace counterparts.

So both weapons slow is good?

No, just your Main Hand. You want the fastest off hand you can get, for applying your poisons

Slower main hand means higher top end damage, which factors directly into higher Sinister Strikes and your skills are based off main hand.

Stats you should prioritize - Attack Power > Agility > Strength > Stamina

Could swap Stamina for Strength if you find you are dying a lot.
