I just started playing, my character isnt cross realmed playable? so if i find friends that are on different realms i have to make a new character?

nope, gotta make sure to pick the same server as any friend that you plan to play with

that sucks, thanks for confirming first time playing and i just noticed that when i tried to switch realms
