Hey there.. i played classic at release but its been years now..

so im wondering wich one i sould pick. Since i have not soooo much time im searching for an easy one to lvl.. since i have not much time i think my focus will be on PvP but if possible it would be nice to be useful in raids...

i think it would be hunter or warlock since its easy to lvl and annoying in pvp
or maybe mage because mage is just awesome? Or shadow for style? how is mage and shadow to lvl?

:)

I've watched pretty much every YT video there is on choosing class and leveling in classic WoW, and all those classes are great! Hunter is #1, lock is #2 simply because of their pets. But mage and shadow priest are top tier as well. Mage have the possibility to AoE grind, conjure their own food and water, and the world record /played 1-60 was taken on a mage (iirc). But that was with a spellsteal "clever use" and I'm not sure it's possible any longer, so don't count on being able to do it.. Regular AoE grinding is still fast and viable though!

Shadow is called the facemelter. Mana issues, but so does every class have, I suppose.. If any class is the contender, or even the class that beats hunter as the #1 best class in 1v1 pvp, it's shadow priest. All you'll do up until shadowform as your 31 talent is Mind Blast > SW:P > Wand, for max effeciency, but that's alright. I've done it, it's pretty aight. You can also heal right up until C'thun in AQ40 in shadow spec, and that's without letting other healers cover for your lack. However, don't count on being popular raiding as shadow, or even taken to the raid..! Shadow priests are also not taken to the cookie-cutter WSG premade setup. You'll always be taken to every premade, dungeon, or raid as a healing priest though.

40% of the playerbase is gonna play mage/rogue/warrior... So I wouldn't take mage.. If you play casually, take hunter. They're #1 levelers, pretty much #1 in world pvp, they can solo farm for gold and get that epic mount quicker than most other classes, they're always in demand for premades + have low player representation, only 2-3 hunters per raid is needed (still, fairly low representation) AND they're the lone class on mail pieces with agility gear. (No, shamans are NOT enhancement in classic...)

Np! You won't be disappointed. Extra points for hunter to be able to leave combat at any given time. A really great class overall. Was going to be my pick as well, but I'll be playing grouped all the time, so I went with healing priest. As a player doing more solo than anything, hunter is definitely a more solid choice than healing priest.
