What is the overall strongest pvp class?
A class that can do insane dps while healing itself if need be. I am new to wow, so any input is helpful, thank you!

pvp in wow is like rock paper scissors, there is no best.

This is all true. However, if you want to be able to play as a DPS class, and also heal yourself consistently, not just a 2 minute cooldown, your answer is Retribution Paladin.

Rogue

The new changes toning down Ret burst and buffing sustained damage were huge. Went from bouncing between 2200-2300s to being solidly in the 2400s. Already secured a glad title. Ret is far stronger than people give it credit for. Especially when you pair it with another high utility spec. Ret + SV or UDK + MW Monk.

I can understand how someone would think otherwise. If you play Ret with a mindset of a pure DPS class and only use half your kit you're going to have a way harder time.

If you remove the need to heal others, SV Hunter, Unholy DK, As Rogue, are all good options.

The only ranged I've ever played was Moonkin when Feral is horrible (like now), so I can't weigh in on that.
