so im thinking about coming back to wow after a fortnight benge

so its hard for me to deside what i want to play in bfa

iv been a tank in the past

or r dps

but open to play it all

let me know whats doing relly well tank vs dps thanks

good tanks are

DK, DH, Warrior

Good dps

Warlock, Hunter, Rogue then rest follow kinda

Warrior tanks are literally bottom of the barrel for pve.

Best tanks for raid/M+ are DK/Paladin/DH/Monk

Best DPS are Affliction Lock, Rogue, Arms Warrior (fury good also at higher ilvl), Arcane/Frost Mage, BM Hunter, DH.

heh warriors arent that terrible maybe not what top guilds are running but do able

I've done a ton of raids/m+dungeons..I think I've seen 1 warrior tank lol.

Dk/pally and great tanks and monks are great too..if they know how to use cooldowns correctly!

Dps hunters are boss, rogues too, everything basically minus shaman/priest

Best tanks per Method are Monks and DKs right now. Personally, playing with them, I agree, although I've played with a few good Prot Paladin tanks too.

Locks and Hunters have been crushing the M5-8+ runs I've done, even though I keep pace as Arms during aoe trash. But single target arms falls off big time. Ret seems really good in both PvE and PvP. Oh, and I've seen some very good Boomkins and Elemental Shamans.

Healers, I don't think there is anything better than Disc. It does unreal dps too. Seen a Disc do 13k in King's Rest +8 because the group was smart about defensive cooldowns and avoided shit on the ground. They're a nightmare in PvP. 2s I run Arms/Disc and we are already 1830 after 2 weeks and I'm still freshly geared. 3s we run Disc/Ret/Arms and are at 1700 or so. Mainly due to me still learning new classes and their abilities after a 6 year layoff.

Warrior just has to use too many cooldowns to bolster their EHP and the higher you get into Mythics the bigger the problem that is on a pack to pack basis. It's worse in raids. They have a huge learning curve and are just flat out not strong enough. Bear Druids and Demon Hunters have their issues too. If you want to tank and do it well Blood DK is way at the top due to their ability to move spellcasters into cleave and they do a boatload of damage.

Brewmaster/blood dk is what we have currently in mythic raiding they both rerolled this xpac to in my opinion the strongest tanks since they were bears last xpac
Melee wise is rogues /dh/enh shammy/arms war
Range dps affliction lock/arcane mage/boom kin is what currently is topping our meters with bm hunters closely 4/5 we only run 4 melee which are the ones I stated
Healer wise holy priest/mistweaver/shaman are currently very good my alt is a resto Druid and they be good but nothing like holy priest/shaman
