120 rogue not sure what to do next

Hey there, bud,

I'm in the same situation as you, but a couple days ahead. I do have to say that in this patch it appears they maintained their vision of "PvE is king" (meaning you have to PvE to be well geared, especially early, if you want to be geared for PvP, especially before ranked is fully released).

I dinged about a day before you, but I've been pretty successful in getting my ilvl up quickly (I am now at 327 overall).

Basically, what I did was:
Buy mid-range loot on the AH (no reason to buy mid-high craftables e.g. ilvl 310 purples, as these will be quickly replaced). This should come relatively cheap if you have the gold--about 20-30k for a full set. You will probably need to run a few BGs or regular dungeons. If doing regular dungeons, I would look here: https://www.wowhead.com/dungeon-boss-abilities-battle-for-azeroth#ataldazarbosses-yazma to make sure you will have a chance at upgrades.

I run BGs when I am bored of PvE (happens often) or if I am in an awkward spot ilvl-wise, as the random drops seem to be dependent on your ilvl. It will also work towards your overall conquest rewards.

As soon as you can (ilvl 305) start running heroics, until you see a gear drop-off, then go back to BGs. That's about where I am myself...

It is worth noting that your original question of easy reps is fair... I am assuming you have not unlocked world quests (you have to go far enough in the main quest line, which will also be required for flight when that is released), but look into unlocking world quests, as this makes rep grinding (and Heart of Azeroth grinding, which is also very important) much easier, and I haven't found that any reps are particularly easier than others due to the ease of completing world quests. There is a good list of general Azerite rewards here: https://www.wowhead.com/guides/heart-of-azeroth-overview though it seems to be lacking a good guide... there was a good youtube video, but it was less instructive than I'd want.

i got my world quests unlocked and bought a few pieces to get a 305 ilvl, going to start grinding heroics

how does conquest caps work atm?

Get your CP cap and you get some pretty decent gear

The warfront gives free 370 and a 340 that can forge you can run this with 250 ilvl currently fastest way to gear I geared a alt to 350 in 4 hours makes other content besides raid/mythic+ waste of time

i am 117 almost 120

I does not give rings, neck or trinkets so I don't exactly buy that.
