I haven't played WoW since Cata. Thinking about coming back with the new expansion.

1) How's the game since Cata? Has a lot changed?

2) Not looking to start hardcore raiding yet. What are some good PvE servers?

every server is either PVP Or pve now you just activate it with a thing called "war mode" if you keep it active you get 10% more experiance and rewards from quests etc

The game has drastically changed but atm, this was a big step up from legion in terms of fixing things

Props where props are due. I have not played since wotlk other than very small tidbits in legion and I must day the lvling zones are on point.

Yes leveling is not fun for all but for those who fk enjoy it they did a nice job with cut scenes and dialog.

Second part is iv had lots of interactions with players in the new grouping system and world pvp. If alliance are running a muck I just message those around me so we can clear them out... Or get rolled again.

World pvp in general. You want to do that than now is the time. Everyone has warmode one due xp gain. Enjoyable.
