Actually yes they are one of the top dps

This, my GM is a afflic lock atm which is the best lock spec atm. Kept up with me on every MOTHERLOAD boss fight in mythic, both of us at 18k DBS. It won't top the dps in a heavy burst mythic plus environment, like a warrior or mage can do. but in terms of boss fights it will usually win, or long term boss fights with adds present.

During trash you might as well afk, during boss fights I'm 2-3k ahead of anyone else and 10 ilvls below
