I know this isnt the trading forum but I'm just wondering, now that you're able to gift blizzard balance is this considered a legal trade?

Good idea, I did and will reply here with the answer in case others are curious.

Doubt it since it's actually money whereas keys/skins are tradeable items.

I mean technically its not. You cant cash it out, and its functionally the same as a wow token (though you dont need a sub for it)

in this subforum i'd assume the only legal way to "gift blizzard balance" is through token trading

if you want to deal closer to real life money/items vs forum gold, you're better off asking around in the donor forum.

Mods never got back to me. If you're just trying to offload balance you can always gift hearthstone packs or sell wow gold (purchasing it with your balance first) I was just inquiring about this as it removes a step from the transaction making it safer for both parties.

I don't see why it would be considered illegal as gifting anything on there that someone would purchase with the balance is legal, so it should be, but I cant confirm this. You can try reaching out to njaguar yourself, hell just forward you to someone else who doesn't want to help and ask you to ask again later only to not respond
