What's the state of the game like now a days. It's the coldest fucking winter in Canada and I need something to do.

How's it pvp/pve wise how's the new classes is it everything basically handed to you now? I used to be heavy in pvp and rated bgs but it's been so long and I haven't been able to find a mmo fix like wow over these many years

Yes but even more so then it was in cataclysm.

Well I guess is PvP anymore balanced then it was with introducing the new skill trees and what not I was not around for that

Imo pvp has never been balanced

this expansion is the same. its just a melee train

Warrior / dk / dh all do insane amounts of dmg

if u're gonna play WoW, pick a priv server.

If you are coming back for PVP stay away. PVP is honestly the worst is has ever been. ESPECIALLY if you plan to heal.

Coming from a past and current glad, the state of pvp is awful in my opinion. Participation is very low, (very dead) outside of a select circle of people who have team members. Most high rated pvpers 2.4+ just play on 2k alts because no point of queing so high, you lose points rather than gain. If you're going to get back into pvp, I would suggest just trying to find fun with friends or past arena members who do well and work your way up. Season won't pick up until near the end when everyone is pushing.
