So, for US, next week's affixes are Sanguine, Volcanic, Tyrannical.
I'd like to try pushing a +15, and I'm trying to get some advice on what classes to bring along for the ride as well as which dungeons I should be trying to avoid.
My thoughts:
Rogue
Enhancement Shaman
Balance Druid
Frost DK
Guardian Druid (me)
Holy Paladin
Why?
Rogues can sap some trash for skipping (DHT/HoV come to mind), they have great aoe stuns, and do solid damage both aoe and single target.
Enhancement Shamans also get some stuns and Heroism is a must as drums just won't cut it. Plus, they can self-res.
Balance Druids are good for ranged DPS, they also do solid aoe/single target damage and have good aoe interrupts for caster packs, plus they have a battle res.
Frost DKs are insane for M+ dungeon DPS, and having death grip for certain pulls is very valuable, especially if some mob decides to stand in Sanguine pools while casting. They also get a battle res.
Guardian Druids have insane survivability, near-infinite cooldowns, and can deal massive damage on trash pulls for a tank class.
Holy Paladins are huge healers, able to handle damage spikes very easily, which is very important for Tyrannical. They also have bubble taunt in case of emergency and Lay on Hands.
If there's any class I'm missing, be sure to make a suggestion here.
As for dungeons, mostly everything should be easy as pie since the trash isn't even really boosted and the affixes are a joke. As for bosses, Tyrannical seems to be the scariest for BRH, DHT, MoS, EoA.
More specifically:
BRH - last boss will 1-shot everyone with bolts
DHT - Oakheart's Crushing Grip is extremely painful, and Xav will Feed/Nightmare Bolt a random player to death
MoS - Helya is just difficult all around, but easier if you use Heroism for phase 1. The first boss is a nightmare though, his Dark Slash hits for 4 million easily and can 1-shot you if you don't have active mitigation rolling. For druids, it's even harder because building rage is nearly impossible when the boss uses Slash almost immediately on pull.
EoA - Wrath just deals a ton of wide-spread damage to the party making healing a nightmare and his health pool is huge. Bringing warriors for this fight helps because he starts in execute range, allowing warriors to pull 1m+ dps sustained for the entire fight.
I'd love to hear what you guys think or if you have any suggestions!
