Paladin (My personal favorite, tried all the healing classes, the paladin is the most interactive healing class IMHO)

+Very Interactive gameplay (A lot of instant heals and being able to top a player instantly)
+Adaptable and Very supportive with all the blessings, bubble, movement speed, ...
+Good at keeping tanks alive with the beacon
+Unique Mechanics - trade your own life to heal someone up (which is strong through at first I was quite skeptical)

-Lack of AOE healing
-Lack of HOTS (Gotta be cautious not to overheal and correctly use your Holy Shock procs)
-Raid CD is not as strong as Tranquility and the like

The transmog potential is awesome also

I main Holy Pally, it's my all time favorite class/spec

I have a lot of fun with shaman.
Heroics and mythics are a bitch sometimes
But raid healing is so fun
Pretty good single target
But your aoe from chain heal to healing rain and the artifact skill
I always top charts next to paladins

Why not? They melee now so might as well...

+1 for Shaman ; no healing class like it IMO.

Me personally, none

I main holy paladin and enjoy it, best tank healers in the game with the biggest burst healing possible - can bypass mechanics with divine shield/BoP as well. Great at dungeons and will always have a spot in a raid group, only real downfall is lack of aoe healing/hots. Also holy pala is prob the best pvp healer in 3's and are great in bgs.

Resto shamans are also great at raid healing and bring utility as well, they do struggle a little in dungeons, rshamans are in short supply so you're almost guaranteed a spot in any guild/group

i dont plan on healing right away but i also dont want to roll a new toon and it be shit healer from the get go. i havent healed since wotlk
