Late in WoD, I moved to Tichondrius (very high pop server) from Azgalor (low pop server).

Every expansion release before, I've been on a low pop server, and it's been relatively easy to get quests done and avoid any queue times. I've heard Tichondrius queue times around a new expansion release can be over 5 hours long.

So I'm wondering... I still have toons on Azgalor. Do you think it would be reasonable to just level one of those toons on Azgalor instead and then get a paid transfer to Tichondrius at 110? Has anyone ever tried this? I'm mostly just concerned that character transfers might take a long time to go through right after an expansion is released. It would be nice to level on a peaceful server though and later transfer back to the busy one.

They've changed the way mobb tagging works. I think up to 5 people can tag a mob now.

I'm mostly trying to dodge queue times. Azgalor did not have queue times during the WoD launch. Tichondrius, on the other hand, often had queue times of 3-5 hours.
