Havent played WoW in a while.

Just started back up with my brother and a few friends.

I got a level 90 ret pally and waiting for them to get to level 90 to level together.

ATM I'm just going to ZG for like 10 mins and killing the queen for the mats to sell on AH.

Are there any simple spots to farm to make some gold along with this lockout during my down time?
Looking for a route I can run per hour

If you want raw gold just run heroic cata raids 25m. You can get about a few thousand from doing the major ones with multiple bosses and trash

Pick up enchanting. Run lower instances. Sell all trash items to vendor. DE the bop items and sell the mats on the ah, sell the cloth on the ah, sell the boe transmog items on the ah. You can research enchanting mats and see what sell the best and base your runs on that. Some boe greens sell really well because of the transmog. You can make decent gold this way to start and then reinvest that gold in the ah. Aim to have hundreds of things posted at once. Transmogs sell over time so you will be relisting a lot but they will eventually sell. Old enchanting mats go quick, especially with the new books added for weapon enchant mogs in legion. I find top end vanilla 5 mans and wotlk 5 mans to be the best for this.

Then try normal or do wotlk raids.

Start of a new expansion is the best time to make money. Spend the first day of the new expansion mining the new ore and selling it on the AH for ludicrous prices.
