I watch some vids and they said there was some content that would be introduced for the xpac, before the xpac goes live...anyone know when/what it is?

also, are garrisons something in this xpac or is it being left behind? I hated the fact that everyone sat in their garrison all day.

There is no specific date set, people are, however, speculating that prepatch will hit on or after the 19th. You will be able to experience the class changes and some of the prepatch content like the broken isles and demon invasions.

Garrisons are staying right where they are, being replaced with 'class halls' in the new content. Class halls are for all members of your class so there is a sense of community. As far as I understand, the only thing "garrison-like" is the class hall mission system which is similar but not on the level of the garrison missions. Seems to be more immersive than the facebook game feel that the current garrison system has.

Pick a high population server, you won't regret it. Race really doesn't matter that much now. I think for high level PVE min-max content, some of the horde races are still the best but.. it's not enough to matter to a normal player.

I meant horde v allience, mainly cause I remmeber last I played BG's were heavily favored on one side or the other...I assume that will change with the new pvp system though I don't think I fully understand it correctly.

I think Alliance wins slightly more right now, mostly in the big BGs. If you play horde and do BGs, just remove AV and IOC from your random queue and you should have a much better time.

The w/l ratio can be frustrating while trying to gear up any horde fresh 100s, but I wouldn't choose alliance specifically because of their BG win/loss ratio.

Find a server here: https://realmpop.com/us.html I would, however, suggest choosing a high population server that favors your faction. If you don't want that, then the next two best choices are Tichondrius, or Emerald Dream. Emerald Dream is a RPPVP server that's become somewhat famous for its world pvp.

the download for prepatch been available since yesterday , so the earliest would be next Tuesday but more likely the other Tuesday after that

wont be until the arena season ends, prolly 26th seems theres no 2 week warning yet

this is probably the accurate guess. they always have a season warning so people don't transfer and what not. we're looking at an announcement next week most likely for the 26th. Which gives us about a month of steady lore events taking place leading up to the actual expansion launch.

suggestion for a good horde pvp server? I'm looking to casual raid and do casual pvp, prolly not 3's n such but more BG oriented and constructed BG's if thats still a thing - and what perks my interest the most is the world pvp zone they are adding

I've been on Tichondrius forever and idk if there is a different choice :/
