Dual Spec On My Frost Mage? - Topic

Currently lvl 45, I picked Frost spec because it has tons of utility and makes the leveling process (dungeons) much easier.
I also read somewhere that Frost Mage were less gear-dependent than fire/arcane so I figured that would be perfect for the early levels and I could get a dual spec later on anyways.

Now I'm starting to wonder which dual spec I should pick between Arcane or Fire and why I should pick it over the other one.

I know fire is best for aoe and arcane is best for single target, but I'm sure there's more to it than that.

Any advice ?

Well I've played mage since vanilla and still main a mage. Arcane is always the go to raiding spec as of now in legion nothing changes

So frost / arcane

Only go arcane once u have the gear to do arcane. In legion frost pulls ahead of arcane till 110. And fire is about even with frost play atm only pulls ahead of 3+ targets frost being better for single target by about 10%

There is only 2 fights fire is good at in hfc and tbh if u have a good warrior or demo lock in ur raid group then it's eh not worth it to play
