So I have not played WoW since right before the tokens and I have some questions.

Basic breakdown of the proper trade methods?

My understanding is, you join w/e server they got the gold on, give you the gold you buy the token. This raises flags to me. Using a lvl 1 toon (assuming its a server I dont have a toon on) moving gold to buy a token would seem like a flag for a outside transaction.

I do not like saying my jsp info on bnet, so... what are my options there hows the safest way(med obviously) to trade for the tokens?'

* I do understand any trades via an outside game source are bannable. Not overly worried about that, more concerned with make it seem as legit as possible. I do have a server with plenty of gold to buy tokens, but if I can use my FG for it, why not.

1) agree on the price
2) you create a level 1 on their realm
3) walk or they pick you up and go to a town
4) they trade enough gold to buy a game token
5) THIS IS THE KEY PART! Person giving the gold says "congrats on winning a free game token from my giveaway!" or something to that effect
6) buy the token and pay the person(or other way around)
7) enjoy the game time


never never never never never list anything in game about JSP, no account name, no "ok sending FG now" nothing in game at all.

If the person selling to you keeps mentioning it, tell him to check messages and message him on JSP. if he still talks about JSP, just don't trade. dont risk it

I've made a lvl 1 toon on almost every realm imaginable to accept mass gold for TCG mount trades. I've never had a problem. I just tell them "Hey wanna buy my pet?" then they buy it for the desired amount. Then once complete I trade them the mount for a pet on whatever realm the mount is sitting on. I never mention anything about jsp in the trade being that it's illegal. But trading item for item is not. It's a legit trade.

I've only been suspended for "Giving a mount away for free in trade as a raffle/prize" and for "giving my guildy 200k when i quit" Both in Wotlk/Cata. I guess I was reported by the losers.

It was labeled as "real life trade" which is stupid. lol


The other safe method is make a toon on that realm, list the pet on the AH for a high amount. Have him buy and then you buy a token. EazyPeazy
