so according to the website raf works below level 90 and as long as you are within 4 levels. so could I stop exp on the raf account and level up some of my other characters that are say level 85 and get them to 90 assuming I pause exp at 87?
to stretch it further.. I would think technically I could stop a character at level 85 and any characters from 81-89 will get the extra exp bonus correct?
just wondering because I have a lot of 80-85 characters and if I can I will probably try to use this method.. or maybe pause one character at 84 and another at 89 and group them with the highest character I can to help with killing speed and such by outleveling mobs and such.

Would be a WHOLE lot easier to just do this normally, then once your RAF character is level 90. Use you "Grant a Level" perk to boost all your 80-89 characters up to level 90.
**NOTE** In order to use the Summon and Grant a Level tools, the characters your boosting must be on the same realm and faction
The referred account grants the levels. If you RAF from level 1, your level 90 on the RAF account will grant 44 levels to characters LOWER level than him. so you can boost a bunch of characters on same realm+faction as the RAF character.
HOWEVER, if your not wanting to do it this way. the way your asking about works just fine


The method i listed out is what i did to catch up all the characters i RAF a while back when the cap was 80 and cap was 85 for a RAF.

I was thinking of that as well.. unfortunately all of the new raf characters will be on a new server.
the servers all of my other characters are on are full of level 80+ characters already

How many level 80+ do you have per realm? you can always knock 1 RAF 1-90 on those realms to save time. If you have 3-5 it would be worth it, in my opinion.
Just don't forget before you use your Grant a Level on a fresh character, make sure you get at least level 2 with 80-95% of the level completed. That way if you decide to play the character @ level 90, you will be almost level 91!

the main server I would like to use the extra levels on is full of characters level 80 or 85+ so I would have to delete a level 80+ character in order to level a raf character.
unless...does the account you recruit have to be on the same server? I guess I have just been thinking about the main account. if the raf account can be on another server I could just make that wherever I want and that would simplify things.. I will have to look into that quick.

Cross-Realm Groups
Two characters linked by RAF that are in a party and near each other, regardless of what server they are on, will continue to receive triple experience while they are in a group together and within range. This works out in the world as well as in dungeons.

Granting levels does not work across realms.

so I should be able to do that.. I will just make the characters on my second account on whatever server I want to grant levels on.. I will have to start that on the next set I just got some to 25 last night.. and 1-15 seems to take the longest time.

Yep I did this as well lvled up 1 char on another server and my raf account on my main to boost my 85s to 90 on my main account even if u couldn't do that i would of sacrificed a 85 an re lvled it to gain all the other chars 90 just to skip mop only annoying part about having 2 different servers is main citys are zoned so i couldn't use my 2 person mount to fly one char around

as for 1-15 their should be area close to the starting zones where mobs are abundant and re spawn very fast i usually grind them until lvl 10-15

I quested til level 12 then just killed the mobs in rfc prior to first boss
druid and hunter so it was pretty easy with pet/heal
