haven't done much reading on xpac, but i was thinking of ench/jc on the new toon on a new server - but garrisons won't be a thing anymore right? so i wouldn't be able to just farm nodes for free for jc. so should i pick up a gathering profession with it? that way i could gather while in dps queue for dungeons i guess? what do you guys think?

I have played no leagion what so ever but I'll put my opinion out there. I say gather prof as well only cause there will be no more garrisons (or so I'm hearing as well) at least you can gather the things you need.

I think it really depends if you have to bank to power level both on release, cba with the time to spend gathering, or want the certain perks from each profession.
All in all it's down to you, it's not going to be a big deal in Legion.

I'd recommend a gathering but it is down to how you wanna play it :s
