how hard/annoying would this be for the tanking transmog set? and possibly the dps set as well?

you can easily solo the 25 heroic dragon soul now, just watch some videos

i did some research and it looks like ill be going for the lookalikes cause im a prot pally lol

Just two small hints to make the weekly farms more of a breeze (when you've farmed Experiment 12-B mount for over 200 times now you will appreciate even the small things! ):

- When you fly up after killing the two N'Zoth generals, take the portal down again and fly up again. That skips like 20 seconds of RP, and force spawns the portal to the next boss.
- When you've started the RP event with the spawning drakes after defeating the boss Hagara the Stormbinder, you can stand on the top most point of the only broken pillar and go AFK. That is if you want to fix something while the RP event solves itself. You won't get hit by the fire then.

only fight you have to try on 25 heroic is deathwing's back.
ultraxion has a dps requirement (like 50 sec) so you need to be sure to meet that
the orc shaman that makes a water shield has a dps race too, but you can wait out the 5 minute shield if you dont meet the timer (but youll fail ultraxion if you cant do this)
